COLD PRESSED WATERMELON, MINT & PINEAPPLE

Do yourself and your family a favour.

It only takes 10 mins to cold press this healthy juice which is much healthier than store bought juice.

Watermelons are rich in lycopene - a member of the carotene family. Carotenes exert both anti inflammatory an anti oxidant activity in the human body.

Pineapple contains a phytonutrient called bromeliad this is well known for its ability to help reduce inflammation.

Can you do this in a NutriBullet if you don’t have a cold press juicer?

The reason why I cold press is purely because I wanted to immerse myself with more nutrients and enzymes. With a cold press juicer it “presses” the fruit/veg to release the juice and enzymes. The enzymes are therefore not affected and you get the benefit of the nutrients and enzymes. However, you do lose out on fibre as the juice is extracted and the pulp is waste essentially.
